Detachment 1488

We are official as of March 14th, 2022

We are so excited to bring a new Marine Corps League Chapter to Canyon County. We welcome Marines from all eras, ages, gender, wars, peacetime, it doesn't matter. We are all Green! We also welcome Greenside Navy Corpsmen to become members. All others are also welcome to become associate members.

What We Do

Making A Difference

Monthly Meetings

We meet once a month on the
2nd Saturday of the month
from 9-11am.
These meetings are held at the
Caldwell Veterans
Memorial Hall.
1101 Cleveland Blvd,
Caldwell, ID.

Monthly Social Events

Family is very important to us. We want our families to participate in the league and teach them from an early age what being a Marine and a part of the community are like. We always welcome family to our events.

Education

It is our goal to help encourage and support Marine Veterans with their pursuit of an education. And we also are working towards developing a scholarship program for Children of Marines and the Young Marines here in the valley.

We stole the Eagle from the Airforce, the Anchor from the Navy and the Rope from the Army. On the Seventh Day while God rested, we overran his perimeter, stole the Globe and we've been running the whole show ever since.
